| Dedicated to those lifters who have inspired RI Powerlifting! |
This page is dedicated to those powerlifters who inspire RI Powerlifting. This is the first step in getting to know who has contributed to the sport of Powerlifting in RI. As time goes on I will get more information about lifters and some of their stories and hopefully it will inspire you too as it has me. I think it's important to recognize their dedication, hard work and pursuit of being the best.
The sport requires full concentration, planned workouts, nutrition, attitude and above all excellence. The sport of Powerlifting is not to be taken lightly (no pun intended). It's very rewarding and has many great physical benefits as well. It's a sport where everyone helps everyone. You can compete in young or old. Below are just some of the lifters that have given to the sport of Powerlifting. Others I would like to mention at this time, Joe Reeves,Ted Isabella, Tom Roselli, to name a few, and of course a few women Lori Nunes, Joan Dias, and Shannon Cook. They all range from young and old, light weight and heavy weight, juniors to masters. Stay tuned more to come...
